This past Sunday evening, May 17th, our family received the unexpected news that my oldest sister, Teresa K. Baldwin, had tragically been taken from this life.
Teresa was born on December 12, 1973 at Fort Meade, Maryland. A lifelong resident of both Macon and Rome, GA, she moved to Kingsland, GA from Tupelo Children’s Mansion in her early teen years. Teresa owned a personal professional cleaning business for several years and was of the Pentecostal faith.
Teresa was preceded in death by her precious grandparents, Billy and Opal Johnson and Robert and Thelma Baldwin; and by her brother Richard Thomas Baldwin.
Survivors include her loving parents, Bishop Freddy and Cynthia Baldwin; son, Airman First Class Brinson Taylor Mobley, daughter, Katelynn Rene Mobley, and son, Gavin Peyton Mobley; her brothers, Pastor Dr. Anthony Baldwin (Tina) and Joshua Samuel Baldwin (Rhonda); sisters, Kristy Lynn Davis (Randy), Dorothy Johnson and Latasha Mangold; niece Addilyne Grace Davis; nephews, Ryan Anthony Baldwin, Michael Austin Baldwin, and Charles Rayne Davis; Aunt and Uncle Peyton and Carol Bostwick; and many other nieces and nephews.
A “Celebration of Life” has been planned for Saturday, May 30th. The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. at Community Worship International, 1695 Hill St. NE, Conyers, GA 30012, with the memorial service beginning at 2:00 p.m. The family may be contacted at 770-483-0966.
