Terry Duane Smith

It is with heavy hearts that we announce Terry D Smith, 70 of Kathleen Georgia, passed away on July 9, 2026

Terry was born on November 2, 1955, in Aurora Colorado, to the late Wendell and Betty Smith. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and cousin. Terry served in the United States Air Force before a career at Robins Air Force Base where he retired from after many devoted years of service. He loved the outdoors, traveling, and fishing. He was a wonderful photographer, winning many awards. Terry used his photography skill as he traveled all over the US and some foreign countries taking breathtaking photos of our wonderful world.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death his brother David. Surviving to cherish his memory is his wife, Kathy, daughter Gwen (Bill) Bauer, son Ryan Alexander, sister Debbie Smith, lots of nieces, nephews and several cousins. He will always be in our hearts and memory as he travels God’s road.

Memorial services will be held Monday July 13, 2026, with visitation at 1:00 p.m., and service at 2:00 p.m. Per his request, no graveside services and instead of flowers please make donations to your local animal shelters.
