Theresa Frances Gibson

Theresa “Frances” Gibson, 85, entered into rest on Tuesday, October 24, 2024. 

Frances, born on September 13, 1939, in Monroe, Louisiana, was a beloved daughter of the late Gene and Lottie Shirah. A sweet and devoted Christian woman, she was the heart of her family, showering her children and grandchildren with unwavering love and support. Frances cherished every moment spent with them, always eager to create lasting memories. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. 

In her free time, she found joy on the golf course, immersed herself in the pages of a good book, and delighted in playing games and solving puzzles. Her vibrant spirit and kindness touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. 

In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Marvin Glenn Gibson and sister, Bettye Whitaker. 

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Kerry Gibson of Tucson, Arizona and Terri Seigel (Scott) of Warner Robins, Georgia; grandchildren, Joshua Seigel (Ashley) of Kathleen, Georgia, and Clayton Seigel (Mary Grace) of Warner Robins, Georgia; and great-grandchildren, Preston Oakes and Myles Seigel. 

At the family’s request, all services will be private.
