Thi Mot “Seven” Bagley, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and faithful servant to God, entered into eternal rest on December 27, 2025. She was born on July 14, 1940, in Hue, Vietnam.
Seven was born and raised in rural Hue, Vietnam, where she learned the value of hard work at a very young age. She helped her family on the farm throughout her childhood and into her twenties, developing the work ethic and selflessness that would define her entire life. Later, she went to live with her sister until she found employment at Long Binh Post, a U.S. Army base in Qui Nhon, Vietnam. It was there that she met James Bagley. The two married shortly thereafter and began their family together.
Seven devoted herself fully to her home and children. In 1972, she and her family moved to the United States, settling first in Bickley, Georgia, and later moving to Warner Robins in 1976. She was a homemaker until moving to the U.S., after which she began working outside the home, first at YKK for two years, and then at Weyerhaeuser, which later became Paragon and eventually First Quality. She remained with the company for an extraordinary 37 years, never missing a single day of work. Known by all as an exceptionally hardworking and reliable employee, Seven routinely worked more than 80 hours a week to provide for her family.
After the passing of her beloved husband, James Bagley, Seven was blessed to find love again with Lynn McCall, who brought companionship, care, and joy into her life in her later years.
Her faith was central to her life. Seven attended Central Baptist Church to learn English, and it was there that she accepted Christ as her Savior and raised her family in the church. She was a devoted member of Central Baptist Church for decades, singing in the choir for 45 years, participating in the Central 5-0, and faithfully attending the Pete Joyner Sunday School class. She was also deeply involved in the Vietnamese Christian community, attending Vietnamese Community Baptist Church. Many Sundays, she would attend Central Baptist in the morning and Vietnamese Community in the afternoon, reflecting her commitment to both congregations.
Seven had a heart for service, especially for those starting new lives in America. She helped many Vietnamese families get settled in the United States, sponsoring several and offering guidance, support, and love. Seven was instrumental in leading many of these families to faith in Christ, sharing the love of God not only through words, but through her actions and service. Her generosity extended beyond borders—she regularly sent money back to family in Vietnam, helping with education and other needs.
She was famously known as a wonderful cook, especially for her beloved egg rolls and kimchi, which brought people together and made everyone feel at home. More than anything, Seven was a provider and caretaker. She took care of everyone around her, instilling unity, responsibility, and love within her family. Through her tireless work, she paid for her children’s college educations and purchased each of them a car, never hesitating to sacrifice for their future.
Seven will be remembered as a very giving, selfless, and hardworking woman whose life was marked by faith, generosity, perseverance, and love. Her legacy of sacrifice and service will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
Seven was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Bagley; three brothers; and three sisters.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Linda Bagley of Warner Robins, Jim Bagley of Warner Robins, Johnny Bagley of Warner Robins, and Annette Bagley-Martin (Greg) of Byron; grandchildren, Alexis Burnette Raymer (Logan), Jeffrey Austin Burnette, Ashlee Anne Burnette Falcione (Korben), Ashten Martin (Katlin), Brenden Martin (Abby), Presten Martin, Hailee Bagley-Pyles (Austin), Koby Bagley (Cam Nhung-Cao-Bagley), and Turner Bagley; and great-grandchildren, Emberlee Pyles, Rowan Martin, Willow Martin, Emmerson Raymer, and Landry Raymer.
Visitation with family and friends will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Central Baptist Church with a funeral service immediately following. Afterward, Seven will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Thi Mot Bagley to Vietnamese Community Baptist Church at 1026 Kathryn Ryals Road, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
