Thomas Elkins Belflower, 81, entered into rest on Monday, September 27, 2010.
Mr. Belflower was born on January 15, 1929 in Empire, Georgia. He was a retired aircraft electrician in civil service from Robins Air Force Base, and worked as a barber for twenty-five years. His son, Phillip T. Belflower, and parents, Elkannah Belflower and Mary E. Floyd Belflower, preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by Sara Belflower; daughters, Betti Cotton (Byron), Byron, Shela Johns (Wayne), Gray, and Kannah Belflower (Sally), Nichols, Georgia; brothers, Lee Belflower (Sue), Empire, and Larry Belflower (Mildred), Cochran; five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 28, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 29, 2010, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Reverends Sydney Odom and Tim Lamb officiating. Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Bower's Cemetery in Empire.
