Thomas J. Brown

Thomas Brown, 84, passed away on Friday, February 8, 2008.

Mr. Brown was born on August 18, 1923, in Woodbury, Georgia. He served his country in the Army during World War II where he was a recipient of the Purple Heart. Mr. Brown made a career in the logging industry. His parents, Jewel and Jess Brown, twin brother, Jess Brown, Jr. and sister Clara Fowler preceded him in death.

Survivors include his daughter, Gail Ellerd (Mike), Warner Robins and son, Tommy Brown (Wendy), Warner Robins; four grandchildren, Lisa Ogan, Roxanne Kuhn, Tommy Brown, Jr. and Heather Brown; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 10, 2008, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 11, 2008, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Perry Memorial Gardens.
