Thomas Migliore, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, craftsman, storyteller, and friend, passed away May 12, 2026. His loss leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
He was born March 27th, 1946, in New Yorks Manhattan Borough, to the late Thomas Raymond Migliore and Frances Louise D'Angelo. He was raised in Greenwich Township, Warren, New Jersey where he became an avid water skier and fisherman. He later worked at his father’s marble shop and enlisted in the Navy during the Vietnam War.
During his Naval enlistment he met the love of his life, Helen Woolridge. He was a devoted husband to his wife of 54 years, creating a family built on commitment, faith, perseverance, and love.
Thomas worked in Federal service for 38 years and retired from RAFB in 2008.
A hardworking man throughout his life, he took pride in providing for his family and in the work of his hands. He was a gifted craftsman who could build and repair almost anything. He enjoyed woodworking and was very skilled in building furniture, wood carving, and wood turning.
He had a passion for gardening and photography, and loved riding motorcycles, finding joy in the freedom of the open road. He was also a natural storyteller whose tales - sometimes slightly embellished - brought laughter and life to every gathering.
His Catholic faith was central to his life. As a devoted member of his church, St. Patrick, in Kathleen, Georgia, he served as an usher and Eucharistic Minister. He also dedicated himself to sharing his faith with others and taught CCD for many years at NSA Hampton Roads Annex Chapel, Robins AFB Chapel, and Sacred Heart in Warner Robins.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Vincent Migliore and Rev. Salvatore “Angelus” Migliore.
He is survived by his beloved wife Helen; his three children, Christopher (Kelly) Migliore, Anthony (Sarah) Migliore, Jennifer (John) Ebersole; ten grandchildren, Sophia, Olivia, Isabella, Gabriella, and Gianna Migliore, Connor Durden, Aurelia Migliore, Emily Andersen, and John and Lucas Ebersole; his sister Rosemary (Rinaldo) Gasparetti; and many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
He will be remembered for his strong spirit, skilled hands, enduring faith, and deep love for his family.
Though our lives will never be the same without him, the memories he gave us will remain forever in our hearts.
A visitation will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church on Wednesday, May 20, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Immediately following visitation, a Funeral Mass will be held at the same location.
