With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Timothy Scott Fulwood, who passed away on June 20, 2026, at the age of 55.

Scott was born on June 8, 1971, in Valdosta, Georgia, to the late Donald Fulwood and Carolyn Bush Kincaid. He was raised in Macon, Georgia, where he spent most of his life and graduated from Southwest High School.

Following high school, Scott entered the plumbing profession, a career he would faithfully dedicate himself to for more than twenty-five years. Spending much of that time with West Plumbing, he became known for his dependability, skill, and unwavering commitment to his work, earning the respect and admiration of both coworkers and customers. Scott was a hard worker throughout his life and took great pride in providing for his family. Due to illness, he was eventually forced to retire.

Beyond his work, Scott was an exceptionally creative and artistic soul who found countless ways to express himself. He had a gift for seeing things differently than most people, finding inspiration and meaning in everyday life, and turning ordinary moments into opportunities for creativity. He enjoyed wood carving, pencil drawing, and playing acoustic guitar, using each as an outlet for his creativity. Whether crafting a piece of art, making music, or finding a creative solution to a problem, Scott approached life with originality and passion.

Above all else, Scott loved to read. Books were among his greatest joys, opening doors to new ideas, perspectives, and adventures. He was an avid reader whose curiosity never faded, and he treasured the knowledge, comfort, and inspiration that reading brought into his life. His love of learning and thoughtful reflection shaped the way he viewed the world and connected with others.

Scott was also known for his compassionate heart and deep empathy. He had a rare ability to see situations from many different perspectives and was often the person others turned to for understanding rather than judgment. He genuinely cared about people and freely gave his time, encouragement, and support to those around him. His kindness, generosity, and willingness to help others left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. Scott turned every somber moment and every hardship into something to laugh about later.

Most importantly, Scott was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a loyal friend. His family was the center of his world, and he treasured the life he shared with his wife, whose unwavering love, support, and companionship were among his greatest blessings. He was deeply proud of his children and found immense joy in being their father. Scott loved wholeheartedly, listened with compassion, and had a way of making those around him feel valued, understood, and cared for. The relationships he nurtured throughout his life were built on trust, laughter, and genuine affection. Though his presence will be deeply missed, the love, wisdom, creativity, and kindness he shared will continue to live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.

His memory will forever be treasured by his beloved wife, Sherry Fulwood; children, John Green-Fulwood, Scott Fulwood, Zoe Fulwood, and Hayley Cooper; and several loving siblings.
