Timothy Doyle Thomas, age 54, passed away on April 13, 2026.

Born and raised in Warner Robins, Georgia, Timothy was a proud product of his community and a lifelong supporter of the place that helped shape him. A dedicated and spirited student, he graduated with honors from Northside High School, where his enthusiasm for his alma mater never faded. Timothy was a true “Eagle” at heart—his school pride was unwavering, and he carried that spirit with him throughout his life.

He went on to earn his bachelor’s degree and built a meaningful career as a nurse with Agape Care Group. Timothy had a deep compassion for others and found true purpose in caring for his patients. His kindness, patience, and genuine concern made a lasting impact on everyone he served.

From a young age, Timothy had a remarkable curiosity and talent for understanding how things worked. At just three years old, he famously rebuilt his tricycle—an early sign of the lifelong passion he had for putting things together and figuring things out. That love extended into his many hobbies, including building model cars and airplanes, working with computers, and exploring the wonders of the night sky.

Timothy was also musically gifted and found joy in playing the saxophone, guitar, and keyboard. Whether he was making music, gaming—from classic arcades to modern virtual reality—or cheering on his favorite teams, he embraced life with enthusiasm. He was a devoted fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and had a deep love for live sports, always enjoying the energy and excitement they brought.

More than anything, Timothy loved people. He had a warm, genuine spirit and a natural gift for conversation—he could talk to anyone, anywhere, and often did. His “gift of jabbering,” as those close to him fondly described it, was one of his most endearing traits. He brought laughter, comfort, and connection to those around him.

Timothy will be remembered as a loving son, a devoted caregiver, a loyal friend, and the very best baby brother. His life was marked by curiosity, compassion, and an unwavering love for others. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and a lifetime of cherished memories.

Timothy was preceded in death by his father, Doyle L. Thomas.

His memory will forever be treasured by his mother, Linda Thomas; sister, Sheila Shirley; Niece, Serena Shirley; nephew, Shane Shirley; great-niece, Lucy Grillot; great-nephew, Oliver Shirley; and beloved dog, Samuel Winchester.
