Timothy W. Downer

Timothy Downer, 58, entered into rest on Friday, August 1, 2008.

Mr. Downer was born on December 17, 1949 in Japan. With pride and honor he served his country in the U. S. Army, participating in the Vietnam Conflict at Cameron Bay. Shirley Hills Baptist Church was his church home. He was an active member of the Warner Robins Post 6605 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars for forty years. His parents, Harry Downer and Rosemary Powell Downer, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his sisters, Annette Garmen, Lithonia, Patricia Jester, Warner Robins, Vivian Dye, Warner Robins, Vicky Carr, Monticello, Mississippi; brother, Harry Downer, Garland, Texas; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 5, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 6, 2008, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Judge Roy Bean Visitor Center, US Highway 90 West, State Loop 25 at Torres Avenue, Langtree, TX 78871
