Tsgt. Eric Birch, Ga Ang

Eric Birch, 44, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 28, 2015.

Eric was born on December 12, 1970 in Winfield, Illinois. He was a member of Eighth Day Church in Warner Robins. Eric was proudly serving our country as an active duty member of the Georgia Air National Guard in the 116th Air Control Wing, JSTARS. He served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom during his 16 year military career. In his spare time he enjoyed firearms, computers, and his 2011 Ford Mustang, "Mona". Eric was very intelligent and had a lot of knowledge in the technology field. He was a devoted husband, father, son, uncle, and friend.

His memory will forever be treasured by his adoring wife, Carla Birch of Warner Robins; children, Mindy Scott (Justin) and Dylan Birch of Warner Robins; mother, Michele Turney (Charles) of Prescott, Arizona; father, Peter Birch (Sylvia) of Mobile, Alabama; sister, Lisa Porter (Greg) of Safety Harbor, Florida; in-laws, Garrison and RoseMary Payne of Byron; nieces, Autumn and Ashley Porter; and numerous other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 1, 2015 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Pastor David Brinson will officiate. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery with full military honors.
