Norman Glenn Durham, 88, entered into rest on Thursday, January 21, 2016.
Norman was born on October 12, 1927 in Williamsburg, Kentucky to the late Jasper and Cinder Durham. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force retiring with the rank of Tech Sergeant. Following his military retirement, Mr. Durham owned and operated Parkway Chevron from the mid-1970's to the late 1980's. He enjoyed dancing and being outdoors, but especially fishing.
In addition to his parents, Norman's sons, Donald and Ronald Durham; and his brothers, J.R. and Kenneth Durham, all preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving son, David Durham of Jeffersonville; grandchildren, Jacklyn Mahoney, Rebecca Laird, Tracy Watt and Margo Gaskins; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Norman Durham to the Alzheimer's Association, 886 Mulberry Street, Macon, GA 31201.
