Early on the morning of Monday, January 14, 2019, Ronald Alan Levieux, 67, joined his Lord and Savior in heaven.
Ron was born on March 31, 1951 in Long Beach, California to the late Esco Levieux, Jr. and Edith Taylor Levieux. Ron served his country for 20 years in the United States Air Force during Vietnam and Desert Storm where he attained the rank of Tech Sergeant and later retired. After his time in the Air Force, Ron began working for the Houston County Sheriff’s Office in 1992. He would go on to serve the Sheriff’s Office at the detention center until 2010 when he retired as a Sergeant. He was a devoted member of Second Baptist Church in Warner Robins for over 30 years. Ron loved his church greatly and enjoyed serving the ministry in any way that he could. Ron volunteered as an usher, traffic director, and cook for the XYZ and Upward Sports Ministry. He especially loved directing the student ministry youth across Sandy Run Rd. on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings. In his free time, Ron enjoyed watching westerns, fishing and camping but his greatest joy was spending time with his family and being a grandfather.
His memory will forever be treasured by his adoring wife, Kendra (Crump) Levieux; children, Sara Levieux (Anthony Lunceford) of Kathleen, GA, and Taylor Levieux (Kayla) of Perry, GA; grandson, Maverick Levieux; brother, Esco “Buzz” Levieux of Meigs, GA; nephew, Tom Levieux of Abilene, TX and niece, Alice Crump of Warner Robins, GA; sister in laws, Cindy Schult (Dave) of Bonaire, GA, and Patty Crump of Warner Robins, GA. He also has several nieces and nephews on the West coast.
