Turner Odell Coffman, Jr.

Fort Valley – Turner "Buddy" Odell Coffman, Jr., 62, entered into rest on January 19, 2010.

Mr. Coffman was born on September 15, 1947, in Houston County. With pride and honor, he served his country in the United States Army, participating in the Vietnam Conflict. He was a proud member of the Vietnam Veterans Combat group, and of his eleven year membership with AA. A self-employed carpenter, his favorite pastimes were hunting turkey and big deer. Christian Alliance Church of Warner Robins was his home church. He was predeceased in death by his daughters; Lora Rebecca and Tracy, father, Turner Odell Coffman, Sr., and Lora Mae Hutto who passed away during the time Mr. Coffman was serving in Vietnam.

His memory will forever be treasured by his sons, Gary Wayne Coffman, Fort Valley, Tod Fenely and Troy Coffman, both of Macon; sister, Shirley Myers, Crawford County; three grand-children; Michael, Brooke and Benjamin Coffman, three nephews; four great-nephews and two great-nieces.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 23, 2010, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2010, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Reverend Darren Turner officiating.
