Vanessa Denise Bemke New, 50, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at Houston County Medical Center. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2005 at First Baptist Church of Haynesville. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to First Baptist Church of Haynesville, P.O. Box 69, Clinchfield, Georgia 31013.
Mrs. New was born in Maryland. Her father, William New, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her mother, Flora New, Warner Robins; children, Natasha Reitz, Warner Robins; James D. Shipes, Jr., Macon; Bernard Bemke, Warner Robins; sisters, Kathleen Studstill, Byron; Dawn Edwards (Mike), Warner Robins; brothers, Ricks New, Florida; Michael New, Hayneville; Billy New, Warner Robins; and one grandchild, Brett Justice.
