Vera Spires, 67, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2005 at Serenity Gate. Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, April 11, 2005 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, April 10, 2005 from 7 until 9 PM at McCullough Funeral Home.
Mrs. Spires was born in Adel, Georgia. She was of the Baptist faith. Her parents, William W. and Donamae Walker, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Ollie Lee Spires, Bonaire; son, Wesley Spires, Bonaire; daughter, Pam Lyman, Bonaire; brother, John R. Walker, Lenox; sisters, Nora Nance, Mooresburg, Tennessee; Willie Mae Baldree, Tifton; grandchildren, Kimberly Lyman, Brian Lyman, Kevin Lyman, Bonaire; several nieces and nephews; one uncle Coy Lasseter; two aunts Ordell Tucker; and Blanche Bynam.
