Vickie Bedsole Lacey, 70, of Warner Robins, Georgia, cherished mother and grandmother, passed away on July 25, 2026.

A graduate of Northside High School, Vickie worked for Robins Air Force Base as a Human Resource Specialist. Her work took her to Chippenham, England, where she lived for about four years. While abroad, she seized every chance to explore Europe with friends and family. She retired in 2011 after more than 30 years of service.

To know Vickie was to know the love she had for her family. She considered her cousins to be her siblings. Vickie treasured her son Seeb Lacey’s half-brothers, Hunter and Nash Lacey, as if they were her own. Her greatest joy was becoming a grandmother, or Granna, for Seeb’s children, starting with the birth of Eden Lacey in 2009.

She instilled her strong Christian faith into Seeb. They regularly attended church together, even when Seeb didn’t want to go in his teenage years, which is a gift he holds dearly to this day. Vickie attended Southside Baptist Church and enjoyed her ladies’ Bible study group.

Vickie was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Margaret Bedsole. She is survived by her sibling, Mike Bedsole (Mary Ellen); her son, Seeb Lacey (Michelle); her grandchildren, Eden Lacey, Finn Lacey, and Ellis Lacey; nephews, Parker Bedsole (Val) and Matt Bedsole (Caroline); great-nephews and nieces, Jack, Livia, Grant, Georgia and Warner.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at McCullough Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m., in Locust Grove City Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, the family humbly asks for donations to the Alzheimer’s Association.
