Mrs. Virginia Carol Hooper passed away of natural causes at her home in Warner Robins on Wednesday, October 31, 2018. She was 76.
Mrs. Hooper was born on November 22, 1941, in Englewood, New Jersey, and had lived primarily in Florida and Georgia throughout her life, calling Warner Robins her home since 1987. A loving wife, mother, and friend, Mrs. Hooper was a breath of fresh air, walking her dog, Cody, around her neighborhood every morning. She was also a devoted Christian, serving enthusiastically and actively at the Robins Air Force Base Chapel and in the Women’s Chapel Group. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert Ronald Hooper, and her parents, Wallace G. and Opal L. Haggerty.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving children, David Sarich, Jill Giles, Val Tensen, Russell Sarich, and Debra Knox, as well as eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation with Mrs. Hooper’s family will be Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. The funeral service celebrating her life will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Mrs. Hooper will be laid to rest in Woodland Cemetery in Port Orange, Florida at a later date.
