Virginia “Ginger” Corbitt, 72, entered into eternal rest on March 2, 2026.
Born on June 19, 1953, in Sylvester, Georgia, Ginger was the beloved daughter of the late O.B. and Juliette Boyd Brown. Although she was born in Sylvester, she spent most of her life in Warner Robins, where she built a life filled with faith, music, and love for her community.
Ginger was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church. Her love for the Lord was evident in the way she lived and especially in the way she sang. She had a deep passion for gospel music and found great joy in lifting her voice in praise. Whether in church or among family and friends, her singing was a true expression of her faith and brought comfort and inspiration to those around her.
Ginger will be remembered for her warm spirit, her unwavering faith, and the beautiful melodies she shared throughout her life. Her legacy of love and devotion to God will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Ginger was preceded in death by her sisters, Kathy Brown and Donna Boyd.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband, William “Bill” Corbitt; granddaughter, Makayla Milalick; and brother Mike Brown.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 6, 2026, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Ginger will be laid to rest during a graveside service in Red Oak Cemetery, in Doles, Georgia, at 2:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Virginia “Ginger” Corbitt to a church of the donor’s choice.
For friends unable to attend at this time, the service will be streamed live at https://www.youtube.com/@McCulloughFuneralHome via the McCullough Funeral Home’s YouTube page.
