Walter Jenkins Lewis

Walter Jenkins Lewis, 83, passed away Friday, May 10. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 13, at the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mr. Lewis was born in Hartwell, GA, and raised in Anderson, SC. An Army veteran, he served in WWII. He was retired from Civil Service at Robins AFB, where he worked as a machinist. Mr. Lewis was a member of Central Fellowship Baptist Church. His parents, Bart and Zora Lewis, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Audrey Lewis (Warner Robins); sons, Gary Lewis (Byron) and Rodney Lewis (Maryville, TN); sisters, Irene Holcombe and Pauline Foster (Anderson, SC); granddaughter, Jennifer Lewis (Byron); and grandson, Mark Lewis (Warner Robins).

McCullough Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
