Wayne Carpenter

Macon – Wayne Carpenter died Friday, October 11, 2002 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, October 14 in the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at McCullough Funeral Home.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 4406, Macon, GA 31208.

A lifetime resident of Warner Robins, Mr. Carpenter had been self-employed. He was born in Telfair County, Georgia. He was of the Baptist faith. His parents, Cleveland C. and Laura Carpenter; and brothers, David, John, and Walter Carpenter, all preceded him in death.

Survivors include his companion, Lynn Fulford; daughter, Dawn Carpenter Phillips; sons, Todd Bartlett and Steve Bartlett, all of Warner Robins; sisters, Willie Owens and Lunell Martin, both of Warner Robins; Betty Coffman, Dallas, GA; Carolyn Barrett, Bonaire; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
