William D. "Smitty" Smith, Sr., 91, entered into rest on August 4, 2011.
Smitty was born on September 28, 1919 in Carrollton, Georgia. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II, and was retired Civil Service from Robins Air Force Base. His parents, Roy and Mollie Smith, preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his children, Phyllis Seele, Warner Robins, Elizabeth Hardin, Pahokee, Florida, and William David Smith, Jr., Mobile, Alabama; sister, Susie McLeod, Newell, Alabama; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 7, 2011 at McCullough Funeral Home.
