William Denson “Denny” Boggs, 75, entered into rest on the morning of Tuesday, March 3, 2026.
Born on January 22, 1951, in Redlands, California, Denny was the son of Cecil Carnell Boggs Sr. and LaRita Ellen Smith Boggs. After graduating from high school, he began a long and dedicated career as an account sales manager with Nabisco.
Denny was a faithful member of Harvest Church. He had a deep love for NASCAR racing and was an avid fan of Georgia Bulldogs football. In his spare time, Denny enjoyed fishing, eating Mexican meals, and listening to live music.
Denny was preceded in death by his first wife, Sarah Adeline Boggs; and brother, Cecil Carnell Boggs, Jr.
His memory will forever be treasured by his beloved wife, Pamela Diane Boggs; his children, William Lee Boggs (Joy) and Jeremy Austin Boggs (Hannah); his grandchildren, Tyler Austin Cole Boggs (Olivia), Abigail Leigh Boggs, Joshua Lee Boggs, Gabriel Lee Boggs, and Cecil Jackson Lee Boggs; and his great-grandchildren, Adeline Ray Boggs and Scarlett Lynn Boggs. He is also survived by his siblings, Paul Lance Boggs (Heather), and Kevin Wayne Boggs (Theresa); and his sister-in-law, Jeanie Boggs; and numerous nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.
A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Harvest Church, with a memorial service immediately following at 12:00 p.m. Denny will be laid to rest privately.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of William Denson “Denny” Boggs to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
