William Earl Beam

William E. Beam, 92, entered into rest on January 2, 2010.

Mr. Beam was born on November 27, 1917 in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. He attended the University of Pittsburgh. He was of the Presbyterian Faith and an elder of the First Presbyterian Church of Coraopolis. Mr. Beam was very active in the community, particularly the YMCA and as a volunteer at Summerhill Senior Living Community. He was predeceased by his wife, Martha Gale Connell Beam, parents, Earl William Beam and Olive Coe Beam and sisters, Josephine Largent and Mary Gail Marquette.

His memory will forever be treasured by his daughter, Martha Beam Davis (Philip), Warner Robins; grandchildren, Sarah Melvin, Megan McDerby and Will Davis; great-grandchildren, Maggie and Kate McDerby; and sister, Sally Aiken, Mobile, Alabama.

Services will be held at a later date in Coraopolis. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Perry Presbyterian Church Building Fund, P. O. Box 574, Perry GA 31069.
