William Thompson, 69, entered into rest on Saturday, September 10, 2022.

William was born on May 25, 1953, in McRae, Georgia to the late Collie Thompson and Anna Ward Katy. Growing up mostly in Macon, he joined the United States Marine Corp in 1972 at the age of nineteen.
