Mrs. Wiley, born on September 18, 1937, lived a life deeply rooted in faith, love, and service. A devoted wife and mother, she was also a pioneering educator within the Houston County Board of Education.
Over her 34-year career, she served at Pearl Stephens Elementary, Elberta Elementary, and Lindsey Elementary, where she retired in 1994. As a dedicated third-grade teacher, she touched countless lives, shaping young minds with compassion, and an unwavering belief in every child's potential. She created a classroom where all children were valued and equipped for the challenges they may one day face.
Those that knew Mrs. Wiley, respected here tenacity for getting her job done. Her legacy of strength, wisdom, and compassion lives on through her daughter, grandchildren, and extended family who will forever cherish her memory.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., at Parkway Memorial Gardens.
