Winifred Harrison Minor

Warner Robins, GA – Winifred Minor, 90, died Saturday, August 9, 2003 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, August 11 at the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Macon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 Sunday evening at McCullough Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Houston County.

Mrs. Minor was born in Macon, Georgia. She was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church of Warner Robins. She received her teaching certificate from Georgia College in Milledgeville and taught for a year at Joseph Riley Elementary School in Macon, then substituted for many years in the Bibb County School system. Her husband, Joseph Bryan Minor; father, John Giles Harrison; mother, Alice Tinker Harrison; sister, Eunice Harrison; brother, Randolph Harrison, and son-in-law, David Kinard preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia M. Kinard, Warner Robins; granddaughters, Cecilia Cohen, Nancy Jaindl, Del McDowell, Cindy Felch; sister, Jeanette Harrison, Macon; brother, Robert Harrison, Warner Robins; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
