Wylene Mcvey

Wylene McVey, 74, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2004 at Houston Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 16, at the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday, October 15 at McCullough Funeral Home.

Born in Emmanuel County, Georgia, Mrs. McVey was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church. Preceding her in death were parents, Lawerence Elmo and Mattie Greene Portwood.

Survivors include, husband of 53 ½ years, Ralph McVey; son, Steve McVey (Melanie), Atlanta; daughter, Janet Little (Mike), Rome; sisters, Nell Izzo, Savannah; Linda Flowers, Ohio; brother, Lloyd Portwood, Savannah; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
