Yrayda Margarita Neyra

Yrayda Margarita "Yaya" Neyra, 92, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 26, 2010.

Ms. Neyra was born on June 10, 1917, in Sagua La Grande, Cuba, where she earned her teaching diploma. A devoted homemaker, she loved Cuban coffee, reading and cross stitching. Her husband, Ruben Gonzalez, and parents, Jose Neyra and Carmen Rosales, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughters, Flora Palmer (Jeff), Bonaire, and Carmen Concepcion, Dallas, Texas; brother, Jose Neyra (Julie), Marietta; grandchildren, Victoria and Samuel Palmer, Ralph, Carmen and Alex Concepcion; great-grandson, Jaryth Webber; three nieces and two great-grandnieces.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 28, 2010, from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Bonaire First Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 28, 2010, at Bonaire First Baptist Church, Pastor Kenny Rodgers officiating. Interment will follow in Bonaire Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 277 M.L.K. Jr., Blvd., Suite 201, Macon GA 31201-3498.
