Yul Cha Yim

Yul Cha Yim passed away on 31 May 2024 in Augusta, GA. She was 77 years old. Yul was born on 13 August 1946 in Seoul, Korea. She was born to a family of four daughters and one son.

Yul married James Malloy in 1972 and had two children, James and Gerald. A military family, they lived in several places around the world, including the United Kingdom and South Korea. The family moved and settled in Warner Robins in 1983. Yul was always a good friend to all who met and spent time with her.

She is survived by her brother Kwang Ho Yim and his wife Yim Kwi Ok, their children Kang Yon, Yon Sun, and Jung Hean, her sons James Malloy II, his wife Jeehon, along with their children Sungu, Sunha, Sunjae, and Gerald Malloy, his wife Tammy along with their children Miles, Gavin, and Josslyn.

Yul is predeceased by her parents and her three sisters. Yul’s memory and legacy of kindness and a giving spirit will be kept alive by her brother, her children, grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Services to honor and celebrate the life of Yul Cha Yim will be held on June 14, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home, located at 417 S Houston Lake Rd, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
